Mo Li Oolong "Jasmine Jade Oolong" from Anxi, Fujian, China, is an exquisite example of traditional tea craft. Hand-picked and rolled leaves are dried together with fresh jasmine flowers, giving the tea its characteristic aroma and taste. The dry leaves have a distinct blue-green color, and the brewed tea has a light green hue. The scent is a harmonious blend of lilac, jasmine, pineapple and green tomatoes. The taste starts with a clear jasmine note, which then turns into light cream and ends with green bitters and a fresh tomato taste. The texture is medium-bodied and gently lubricates the palate, with a slightly dry and pleasant finish. Perfect for those looking for a floral and refreshing tea experience, this tea can be enjoyed in both the traditional Gong Fu way and in the Western brewing method.
