Cangyuan Pu Erh Organic is a Shou Pu Erh from the Cangyuan district in southwestern Yunnan, produced according to EU organic standards. Through the controlled fermentation process, the tea acquires its dark, rich character right from the start – a tea that does not need long aging to show its potential.

In the cup, a deep mahogany-colored drink emerges with soft, earthy tones, hints of dark wood and a slight walnut-like hue. The aroma is warm and embracing, with a subtle minerality reminiscent of the mountain air of Cangyuan. It is a tea that invites peace and presence, and is equally appreciated by beginners and experienced Pu Erh drinkers.

Unlike some other Pu Erh varieties, this tea is not primarily intended to be stored for the future. Instead, its strength is to offer today the deep, rounded taste experience that characterizes a well-made Shou Pu Erh. An organic choice for moments of tranquility, warmth and enjoyment.

For this tea, we suggest you try the Western brewing style. The idea behind this technique is to use fewer leaves and much more water, while the brewing time is longer to extract as much of the flavor as possible at once.
