This tea is produced on large, mature leaves during late summer and autumn and gives a fairly simple taste with mild sweetness and nice balance. The caffeine content is a little lower and therefore it is common for Japanese parents to give this tea to their children. The neutral character makes it excellent to drink with several different dishes.
