The tea has long, elegantly twisted tea leaves with golden leaf buds. The taste is rich, aromatic and well balanced with wonderful aftertaste reminiscent of cocoa.

Jun Chiyabari, meaning "Moonlit Tea Estate", was founded in 2001 by two brothers who wanted to relive their childhood memories among tea plantations. The underlying philosophy is respect for the products, for the people and for the place.

This artistically produced, dark oxidized tea is made from specially selected male-picked tea leaves. These are then crafted to perfection by 'tea masters' at the tea estate who follow East Asian production methods to create this tea and its balanced expressive flavours.

The tea has long, elegantly twisted tea leaves with golden leaf buds. The taste is rich, aromatic and well balanced with wonderful aftertaste reminiscent of cocoa.
